Electronic Prescriptions from SureScripts contain a rich amount of data beyond what goes on the Rx label.
Diagnosis Codes and Patient Allergies are included in each New Rx transmission.
Pharmacists need this info in patient records, now you have a way. Regulators REQUIRE us to get this into patient profiles.
This program scans all the transmissions and pulls out the following data sets for a look back period you choose (ie last 3 months of Rx’s only):
- Diagnosis Codes
- Allergies
- Patient Data (phone, email, address etc). Great for cross matching against Pharmacy records.
- Doctor Data (including email addresses, great for communicating electronically with your prescribing partners)
- A list oaf all unique email addresses (doc or patient) in your SureScripts data. Great for uploading to a email marketing service like MailChimp or Constant Contact. We are finding over 3,000 unique email addresses per store. A great email list hiding in your data!
Further, you receive a daily to do file for patient allergies and diagnosis codes for entry into the pharmacy system. Duplicates are screened out so you won’t see Mrs. Smith’s same ICD-10 code more than once, no matter how many Rx’s are sent.
Currently, this app is compiled for use with Computer-Rx to pull messages from archive and then analyze. Simple modifications can be made to work with other pharmacy softwares who store the original SureScripts XML messages.
